We at RUMC are excited to sponsor the SonLight Preschool & Family Learning Center as part of our continuing outreach missions. We offer a program based on basic Christian values.
Our curriculum provides a carefully supervised and balanced program to assist young children in their learning process. It is focused on kindergarten readiness. Daily activities may include weather, calendar, story, letter/number/shape/or color, songs, circle time game, table time activities, movement activities, craft activities, sensory table activities, and printable worksheets. The curriculum is based on the “Letter of the Week” concept. Letters and numbers are introduced and then taught throughout the school year through a variety of formal and informal methods.

Pastor Heather Sparkman reads a bible story to the students each Tuesday when her schedule allows.
Classes are currently held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. Additional class days and time will be added as needed.
